Interview with William Edmond, Sr., concerning his experiences as a resident of Hamilton Park, Texas from 1956 to 1990. Edmond discusses his youth in East Texas, his military service in World War II, his employment with Dallas Independent School District, segregated housing in Dallas, his decision to purchase a home in Hamilton Park, home improvements, zoning problems, his activities with the Civic League, shopping areas, Interorganizational Council, church activities, school desegregation, and the "Buy Out."
